Bred exclusively in-house, Mango Cake brings together Good Buds' signature Mango Taffie genetics with the creamy depth of Wedding Cake. The nose opens with juicy mango and a gassy afterburn, vanilla frosting undertones threading in behind. On the draw, it's ripe mango and orange zest, with a creamy cake dough finish that lingers on the exhale. Terpinolene and ocimene carry the tropical lift while myrcene grounds it. Grown in living organic soil inside Good Buds' Salt Spring Island farm, hand-harvested, hang-dried, and slow-cured in micro-batches using the same artisanal methods they've always used.
It all started in a van.
At the tail end of a road-trip across Canada, their Founder Tyler Rumi stopped on Salt Spring Island, BC to visit family. He hasn’t left since. A long-time MMAR grower and avid stoner, Tyler fell in love with the island’s amazing growing climate. He decided Salt Spring Island was the best place to live out his dream of starting a craft weed farm.
Living out of his van, Tyler brought in his brother and Co-Founder Alex, and some of his life‐long buds, Ryan, Mike and Andrew to start GOOD BUDS.
In 2020, GOOD BUDS became FVOPA Certified Organic and BC’s first Certified Living Wage Employer in cannabis.
Today, GOOD BUDS has grown from a small dream into an award-winning craft cannabis brand, specialized in Certified Organic weed and concentrates.
